Zukunft der NFLE?

Hat irgentwer irgentetwas von dem Owner-meeting der NFL bzgl. der Zukunft der NFLE mitbekommen?

Im letzten jahr wurde ja mit denkbar knapper Mehrheit der Fortbestand bis 2005 beschlossen und eine weitereichende Entscheidung auf dieses Jahr vertagt ...

Entscheidung im Mai 2005 evt. schon im März 2005. Es gibt einen neuen Vertrag mit Fox. Die Vorzeichen stehen gut, für weitere Jahre NFLE

Die Vorzeichen , dass mit der "Zirkusliga" auch gut Kirschen essen sein kann, kann man auf "www.hamburg-seadevils.de " sehen. Das Logo der Hamburg Blue Devils ist eingebunden.

Auch die NFLE-Verantwortlichen haben einiges dazugelernt und das ist gut so.

Auch die NFLE-Verantwortlichen haben einiges dazugelernt und das ist gut so.
110% Zustimmung! Und nicht NUR die NFLE Verantwortlichen, sondern auch diese Personengruppe beim AFVD und bei den GFL Clubs haben es wohl langsam begriffen!

Was man leider von einigen "ewig gestrigen" Fans nicht sagen kann, die Einstellungsmässig immer noch Anfang der 90er weilen!

Keine Ahnung jedenfalls, was DIE nächste Saison machen, ich werde mich jedenfalls weiter zu Footballspielen in jeder Klasse in Deutschland (und Holland) bewegen und dabei meinen Spaß haben!

P.S.: Ich freue mich jedenfalls jetzt schon tierisch auf die Spiele in Hamburg, Amsterdam und Köln und werde das neue Stadion in D`Dorf mit einer Dauerkarte beglücken!

Wieso eigentlich Zirkusliga ?

Vom qualitativen her kann die GFL nicht ansatzweise mithalten, und wem das zuviel Show im drumherum ist, der ist beim falschen Sport. Nur weil Football in Deutschland hier und da über 200 Zuschauer auf nem Sportplatz mit ner kleinen Grillbude nicht hinauskommt, muss ja nicht alles verdammt werden, was versucht darüber hinauszukommen...

sorry wurde wohl falsch verstanden..meinte das natürlich nicht im vergleich zur GFL (dahinter steckt ein zirkusverband :wink: ) sondern im vergleich zur NFL.

Es gibt viele, die gerne in den Zirkus gehen.

Ausserdem glaube ich, dass der Ansatz, so sehr er auch bei den Hardlinern abglehnt wird, mit Show und Football die Sportart mehr nach vorne bringen wird als ein ziemlich langweiliges German Bowl Spiel.

Einiges sollte man bei der "Operettenliga" nicht vergessen:

Die Spieler sind Profis und sind "handwerklich" oberstes Niveau und das wird nicht so einfach abgelegt.
Die Spieler spielen auch um Positionen in Ihren Hometeams und da heisst es nicht kleckern sondern klotzen.
Die Schulflagunterstützung der NFL-Europe sind gross und Hamburg freut sich schon auf die professionelle Unterstützung. (Gregersen ist dafür von der NFL-Europe ausgesucht worden) und wir werden den einen oder anderen Spieler in den Vereinen wiedersehen.

Naja sagen wir mal sie spielen darum ob sie gefeuert werden oder nächstes jahr einen platz im practice squad bekommen, welche nfle spieler sind denn in den letzten jahren zu stammspielern in ihren teams geworden? da war ganz früher mal ein kurt warner, ein jack delhomme, ein marcus robinson und ein david akers, aber danach?? was ist aus einem vielgelobten chad hutchinson geowrden? bei den cowboys gefeuert und jetzt bei den bears 3. qb...dies nur als ein beispiel..

Interessant, dass auch bei sogenannten "Footballprofis" immer nur die Skill Positions genannt werden, die in der GFL durch Amis besetzt werden!Aber der "wirklich wichtige" überwiegende Teil ist doch deutsch, heißt es dort immer!



Ich empfehle Dir mal den NFLEL Player Tracker, Du kannst Dir ja mal den Spaß machen und alle "Did not play" löschen, dann bleiben immer noch massig Spieler mit NFLE Erfahrung über!

Wenn Du wissen willst wer spielt und wer nicht, dann bitte schön(Statistik vom 18.11., neue Statistik wird erst heute Spätnachmittag zur Verfügung stehen):

Arizona Cardinals (4-5)
P Scott Player (Frankfurt 1997) - Player punted the ball 6 times for a total of 277 yards, placing 2 within the 20-yard line. His longest punt of the season was for 57 yards.
FB Obafemi Ayanbadejo (England 2003) - Carried the ball three times for 12 yards and caught one pass for 16 yards. Ayanbadejo has 58 yards receiving, 29 yards rushing and two touchdowns this season.
CB Dyshod Carter (Scotland 2003) - Was not active in Week Ten. Carter has 7 tackles, 3 assists, and a pass deflection this season.

Atlanta Falcons (7-2)
WR Dwayne Blakely (Rhein 2003) - Played limited minutes for the Falcons without a reception in the Week Ten win over Tampa Bay.
WR Brian Finneran (Barcelona 1999) - Was not active in Week Ten. Finneran has a total of 119 yards receiving this season.
G Steve Herndon (Barcelona 2000) - Played valuable minutes as a backup on the offensive line to help Atlanta's strong rushing performance.
P Chris Mohr (Montreal 1992) - Mohr punted 6 times for a total of 250 yards, placing one punt within the 20-yard line. Mohr's longest punt this season was for 56 yards.
G Michael Moore (Frankfurt 2003) - Injured Reserve.
LB Artie Ulmer (Frankfurt 1998) - Ulmer made his ninth appearance of the season on special teams with two stops. Ulmer has a total of seven special teams tackles this season.

Baltimore Ravens (6-3)
T Ethan Brooks (Rhein 1997) - Made his third straight start in place of injured LT Jonathan Ogden to help the Ravens ground attack.
T Damion Cook (Barcelona 1997) - Played valuable minutes as a backup for the Ravens during the Week Ten Victory.
DT Marques Douglas (Rhein 2000) - Douglas had a phenomenal performance on the defensive line, in his best game of the season. As the third leading tackler on the Ravens defence, he had 7 tackles, one assist, and 1.5 sacks. Douglas now has a total of 34 tackles, 11 assists, 2 pass deflections and 2.5 sacks this season.
DT Kelly Gregg (Rhein 2001) - Gregg was the fourth leading tackler on the Ravens with 5 tackles, 2 assists, and 1.5 sacks. Gregg has 21 tackles and 7 assists, and 1.5 sacks this season.
DT Aubrayo Franklin (Frankfurt 2004) - Was not active in Week Ten. Franklin has a total of two tackles this season.
TE Daniel Wilcox (Rhein 2004) - Starting for the Ravens in place of injured Pro-Bowler Todd Heap, Wilcox had two catches for 21 yards. This season Wilcox has made 15 catches for 94 yards and a touchdown, as well as adding 5 tackles on special teams.
T Tony Pashos (Cologne 2004) - Was not active in Week Ten.

Buffalo Bills (3-6)
P Brian Moorman (Berlin 2000-01) - Moorman punted 5 times for 240 yards, averaging 48 yards per punt, with 58 yards as his longest of the day. Moorman's longest punt this season was for 80 yards.
TE Ryan Neufeld (Rhein 2000) - Saw limited minutes as a backup TE in Week Ten.
LB Josh Stamer (Amsterdam 2003) - Made one tackle and two assists on regular defensive plays as well as one tackle on special teams. Stamer has made seven tackles and two assists this season for the Bills.
T Lawrence Smith (Amsterdam 2003) - Smith played his second straight game as backup, after originally starting at the beginning of the season. Smith's blocking was not match for the Pat's defence.

Carolina Panthers (2-7)
QB Jake Delhomme (Amsterdam 1998/Frankfurt 1999) - Delhomme lead his team to their second victory of the season, with by far his best performance. He made 19 of 34 passes for 303 yards, and 3 touchdowns, with his highest quarterback rating of the season at 115.2 percent. Delhomme's stats for the season consist of 2036 yards passing, 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
T Dave Kadela (Berlin 2004) - Was not active in Week Ten.

Chicago Bears (4-5)
QB Jonathan Quinn (Berlin 2001) - Did not play in the Week Ten victory over the Titans. Quinn has thrown for 327 yards, with one touchdown and one interception this season.
DE Israel Idonije (Berlin 2004) - Did not play in Week Ten. Idonije has recorded 4 tackles, one assist, one pass deflection and a sack this season.
CB Todd McMillon (Frankfurt 2001) - Made key contributions on special teams with three tackles. McMillon has 11 tackles, 3 assists, and a pass deflection this season.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)
QB Jon Kitna (Barcelona 1997) - Backup QB Kitna has not received playing time so far this season.

QB J.T. O'Sullivan (Frankfurt 2004) - Inactive in Week Ten.
QB Craig Nall (Scotland 2003) - Did not play in Week Ten.
QB Doug Peterson (NY/NJ 1992/Rhein 1995) - On Injured Reserve.
G Marco Rivera (Scotland 1997) - Made his ninth start of the season, helping Ahmad Green advance to 145 yards rushing.
TE Ben Steele (Frankfurt 2002) - Made key contributions on special teams with a tackle and a fumble recovery that set up the Packers winning field goal in a 34-31 victory over division rivals Minnesota. Houston Texans (4-5)

C Marcus Spears (Amsterdam 1996) - Made his first start of the season for the Texans, contributing to Davis's 98 yards rushing and two scores.

Indianapolis Colts (5-3)
C Tupe Peko (Amsterdam 2002) - Made his eighth start of the season for the Colts in a dominating win over the Texans.

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3)
S Deke Cooper (Rhein 2001-02) - Played as a backup on the secondary but did not record a tackle. Cooper has 15 tackles, 2 assists, 1 interception, and a pass deflection this season.
QB Quinn Gray (Frankfurt 2003) - Did not play in Week Ten.

WR Chris Horn (Amsterdam 2004) - Made his sixth appearance of the season in Week Ten but was unable to make a reception. Horn has 7 catches this season for 106 yards and a touchdown.

LB Fred Jones (Frankfurt 2003) - Contributed on Sunday with one stop on special teams. Jones has six tackles for the season.

TE Lamont Hall (Rhein 1999) - Made an appearance but did not record any stats. Hall has made only one catch for a touchdown this season.

OL Joe Wong (Amsterdam 2001/Barcelona 2002) - On Injured Reserve.
DE Bobby Hamilton (Amsterdam 1995-96) - Making his ninth straight start of the season, Hamilton had one tackle in the win over the Carolina Panthers. Hamilton has 21 tackles, 9 assists and half a sack this season.

... ich find´s hochinteressant, wie sich die Grundhaltung zur NFLE hier im Forum verändert hat, seitdem bekannt geworden ist, das Hamburg ein Team bekommt... :D

Ich kann in diesem Fall nur für mich sprechen, aber ich freu ich darauf und darüber . Die Erklärung zumindest für die Reaktionen einiger Leute in HH sind wohl auch eng mit den "Blauen" Teufeln verknüpft...
