Da Barcelona aktuell zu den Top-Teams gehört, würde ich den Wechsel jetzt auch forcieren. Ohne sportlichen Erfolg braucht man jedenfalls nicht in ein großes Stadion wechseln, weil das geht dann nach hinten los.

Was ist denn das für ein Bericht zum „neuen HC“ ? Deepl?

ELF impact on local players development and others. The Spanish case.

Spain played vs Ireland yesterday evening in a qualifier for the European Championship. 25 Spanish players were Dragons and most of them played as starters. So, basically, it was a Dragons without imports vs Ireland. There were some Spanish ELF players missing due to different reasons, 4 of them Dragon's starters but still it was a good chance to draw conclusions on the impact of ELF on Spanish player development.

Well, Spain beat Ireland easily 27-6, with Dragons players only playing 2 and a half quarters and by then the result was already 27-0. Ireland proved to be a decent and well organised team, dont underestimate them. Another fun fact is that Spain had only won an official game in its all history back in 2019 and against Turkey.

What we could see on the field was quite enlightening. Defense shut opponents lights out from second one. Allowing 1 or 2 first downs in the whole first half. The growth and understanding of the game of Dragons players, both offense or Defense players, looked lights years away from the ones not involved in ELF.

But most importantly, in an interview with newly appointed Spanish head coach 2 days previous to the game, he said things like "even with all the players missing for this game, I have the best roster ever the national team has gathered. And it is not a matter of pure talent. I wouldn't even try to discuss whether a former national team had better raw talent which I doubt. Only on grounds of understanding of the game, this roster beats hands down any past national team by milion kilometers. And Dragons and ELF have to take credit for this. I know bad blood is there and i don't want to take a stance. However, what i said is fact. Dragons and Spanish federation need to talk and smooth differences. This group of players has been coached by top coaches full time and playing against best competition in Europe. I am really excited with the opportunity I have been given "

Hab das Spiel der Spanier gesehen. Und ich dachte auch, dass sie eigentlich in die A-EM gehören, von der Qualität her.
Wer auch immer das Spiel Israel vs. Türkei gewinnt, hat denke ich keine Chance gegen Spanien.
Aber wer weiß. Vielleicht gab es bei den türkischen Spielern durch die ELF-Teilnahme auch so einen Fortschritt.
Dann könnte ein mögliches B-EM-Halbfinale Spanien vs. Türkei richtig interessant werden.

Spannend wohl nur dann wenn es zwei und nicht nur einen Aufsteiger geben sollte denn der erste steht mit Deutschland ja de facto fest
