Last comment from me, and i will do it in english so i can appropriately bring my thoughts across. I think that the organisation of the FU is increadible, I have thought that from their inception. The team has gone out and made itself a formidable opponent ( i have nothing against buying american players ) What I have said before is that I dont care for the manner in which many Fans, and involved members of the FU vorstand speak about other teams, other leauges, and in general the blind arrogance. Does that mean the players are that way? NO infact my experience with FU players is that they all love to play and want to win... nothing wrong with that. I guess my wish is for the fans and obnoxious administration of the FU to shut the hell up and let their players performance speak for the quality and integrity of the FU verrein.

To the Players good job, good luck, I wish you continued success without injury, and to the former galaxy fans, just realize it is over, and stop trying to re-create another party station.. trying to live vicariously through the FU. You do the players a huge disservice.

Thats it i wash my hands of it


oh just one more thing... if you are going to integrate an american term into your vocabulary you should learn what it means, and how it is used. to "Hate" on someone is when you want what someone else has and that is why you "hate" on someone. If you dont like someone because of their actions and what they say that is not "hate" or "gehate' that is called not liking somone who is an obnoxious asshole.

From my experiences in the last two years I think the FU Fans DID realize that Galaxy's time is over for good. It's not about creating another party station - there are plenty of in Frankfurt. It's about not finding a football home and subsequently creating your own. Party is a part of it, but not the main dish. As anybody knows who witnessed it, the main dish starts when the team enters the field to the Universe hymn (which of course has some resemblances to the Galaxy hymn).

Ask the players if a single one of them feels the fans do them disservice. You'd be astonished.

Öffentlich wird dazu niemand Stellung nehmen, aber wenn man ein paar der Jungs besser kennt und mit Ihnen redet, dann muß man schon sehr überrascht feststellen, daß die zwar gerne solche Fans haben, sich aber wünschten, man würde sich etwas angebrachter verhalten.
Das ist aber ohnehin eine reine Geschmacksache und unerheblich, da doch etwas ganz anderes gemeint war.
Gemeint war, daß das ganze sehr vom eigentlichen, dem Football und den Spielern, ablenkt. Dadurch beschäftigen sich viel zu viele, siehe dieses Foum, nicht mit dem Sportlichen. DAS schadet dem Team.
Auf lange Sicht kann das sogar dem ganzen Verein erheblich Schaden, da irgendwann jeder, ob Presse, Aktiver oder Fan, bei der bloßen Nennung des Namens FU dies sofort mit etwas negativem verbindet.
Kann! Kein muß! Aber die Gefahr besteht, und deshalb hat Bruschii schon recht.

Für viele wirken die Ziele von Universe (u.a. Durchmarsch in die GFL und gegebenenfalls Wiedereinzug in die Commerzbankarena) ziemlich weltfremd.

...und das von einem, der im Signum die HBD stehen hat, denen damals per "Order di Mufti" der Marsch über die Dörfer in die GFL erspart geblieben ist (wobei ich grundsätzlich überhaupt nichts gegen die Blue Devils habe).

Das sollte auch nur eine zusammenfassende Meinung von den Kritikern sein, zu denen ich mich selbst übrigens nicht zähle. Ich selbst finde Frankfurt Universe gut, allein schon weil sie meiner Ansicht nach der Verein mit dem größten Zuschauerpotenzial in Deutschland sind. Deswegen hoff ich, dass sie es möglichst schnell in die GFL schaffen.
