I might be coming to Germany soon and have heard that there are football leagues that you can play in. Are Americans allowed to play? How does it work? How many leagues are there? Thanks in advance!

Die E Kennzeichnung fällt doch weg oder erst nächstes Jahr.
Es muss doch im Moment durch die international Player transfer card die Freigabe beim Verband des jeweiligen Landes beantragt werden, und diese soll nun bald als E-Import Regel ausreichen (auf 6 oder so beschränkt).

Last year it was allowed to have max. 6 americans (we normally talk about A´s but this includes every non european as well) in the team during the season.
4 is the limit per gameday and max. 2 at the same time on the field.

If you know where (which city) you want to go to you dont need the europlayers website.
Google for teh cityname and football and you find out if there is a team.
check the website and write a mail. Every team ist happy to get experienced players.

If you dont know where to go to use europlayers.

It is military related, but I'm not in the Armed Forces? Thats not a requirement is it?

No it´s not a requirement...We have 3 Americans from a Base in the Netherlands in our team...
