Over-achieving and Under-achieving. This means the team that was expected to do more and did less. And the team that was expected to do less and did more.

Over-Achieving - Plattling Black Hawks. When you look at the preseason polls, they were predicted either 2nd or 3rd, but they have put it all together and won it all.

Under-Achieving - Franken Knights - although they still have a chance to win 2nd Place, coming in pre-season, it looked like all the right moves were made to put this team into the GFL only to come up short. They earn my respect for their victory over Plattling, but too little too late!

Over-hyped - Sorry MFF, either you have a lot of fans on the forum, OR people just thought too much of you coming in. There is a lot of young talent in Montabaur, no reason for stress, but rarely do relegating teams jump right into the championship mix. You learned valuable lessons for next season and beyond.

To the earlier post, let's just say that the milchreis went in as milchreis mixed and came out all over the discothek floor and also in the parking lot and also on my shoes. I feel very ashamed for that

Over-achieving: As much as I dislike Wiesbaden, I must say that I thought they would come out with their typical 2-3 losses in the 1st round, but they didn't they came out strong in the 1st round and for a team that lacks a secondary, their defensive front seven including their solid offense has definitely been the key to their success. I think I picked them 3rd in the preseason.

Under-achieving: Saarland. I mean come on they have a very good defense, but that offense has to be the most underachieving 1st league absteiger in the history of German football. I expected a little more from them, but the season is still yet to finish. So don't count them out yet.

Over-hyped: definitely Montabaur. And I myself hyped those guys based on what I saw in the relegation series last year. They are still a very good young team, just like Kirchdorf. They both should be competing like Plattling and Wiesbaden in a few years.

Franken has pretty much a guess every year to finish in the top 3, so no big surprise there. Good recruiting location.
