Laut polnischer Quellen hat Dimos sich für die Devils entschieden, obwohl ihm auch ein Angebot der Marburger vorlag. Die Mercenaries waren ein bischen zu schnell mit ihrem Artikel.

Das sind wir von den Marburgern aber gar nicht gewohnt. Tja über den großen Teich hinweg scheint ein Wort nicht mehr sonderlich viel zu zählen?

Ich geh mal nicht davon aus, dass die Marburger eine Unterschrift unter einem Vertrag hatten

Die polnische Quelle hat wohl falsche Informationen. Wenn dem so wäre, dann wäre es keine Sache. Sein Verhalten in der ganzen Angelegenheit war aber letztendlich nicht besonders kompetent. Vielleicht ist es besser für Marburg, dass er jetzt doch nicht kommt. Aber da wird sicherlich noch eine Erklärung aus Marburg kommen.

Übrigens, Chef des World Sport Scoutings ist Mark Grocholski...der jetzt Head Coach bei dem anderen Breslauer Team...The Crew ist.
Ich vermute stark, daß er Dimos dazu überredet hat

Sagen wir es einfach mal so... Vielleicht waren die gezeigten Leistungen von Dimos ja doch nicht so wie erhofft und nicht ganz GFL-tauglich... Aber für die polnische Liga dürfte es reichen.
Manchmal gehen halt Anspruch an sich selbst und Wirklichkeit leicht auseinander...

Hey loddo, don't you think it would have been a better idea for Marburg to do their homework and figure out that DS was not qualified to Coach a GFL1 team prior to him figuring it out himself and leaving for Poland? If I am a player on that team, I have to be wondering about the decision makers at the top! If your goal is to have an American Coach and you can afford it, go for it. If you want an American Coach and can't afford one who is qualified, there are PLENTY of qualified German Coaches who would LOVE to coach a GFL1 program, and Marburg is not a shitty job, there is a lot to work with in this organization, talent, experience, money, etc. The board blew this one! Here you are a little over a month before the season begins and no Head Coach??? Is Marburg headed to a relegation series? Big trouble in little Hessen!

Vielleicht, vielleicht aber auch nicht. Bei manchen Vereinen reichen eben nicht nur die "Qualifikation" als Coach aus.
Manchmal zeigt sich ein Coach total interessiert an einem Job, unterschreibt einen Vertrag. Und wenn man dann (unter Benutzung fadenscheiniger Gründe?) woanders weiterverhandelt, den Vertrag (unter Benutzung obengenannter fadenscheiniger Gründe?) woanders unterschreibt, dann passt dieser Coach nicht nach Marburg.
Ich glaube aber auch nicht, dass Marburg nicht unbedingt einen amerikanischen Coach will, die Nationalität ist zweitrangig. Wichtig ist die Qualifikation und die Chemie...

Aber das sind alles Spekulationen, bin nur Fan, kein Vorstand.
