Plattling still has Farghali, Starzengruber and Schwarz at the WR, with no Hazel, not sure who is left to throw them the ball.

Defensively though, take away the 2 American DB's from Wiesbaden and it tells a much different story about Wiesbaden's Defense. I will be the first to say, no imports = Wiesbaden winning the 2nd League period because they have German players that can play, maybe not great, but compete at each position. BUT, that is not the rules we play by, and Franken, Montabaur, PBH all are doing nothing out of the rules. We can debate that till the cows come home, but honestly think it is good for the GFL2.

Franken - what has changed? FOR ONCE this season they lived up to all the pre-season hype! I have followed Wiesbaden for several years, for WHATEVER reason, they are just a slow-starting team, their last few seasons lost in the first few weeks of the season. Maybe that was their problem - slow starters. They certainly peaked last weekend and showed their potential. Does anyone know the news on Simmons? Franken loses Simmons and its a WHOLE different ball game this weekend, a lopsided win for the Phantoms.

Don't get me wrong, look at my comments early, I pick Wiesbaden to win this weekend with or without Simmons, I am just not ready to annoint Michael Treber as anything REMOTELY similar to Pete Carrol, and certainly it won't be a 23-pt blowout as you have predicted...just my 2 cents and yep, I'm a FIGHTER baby, competitive as hell! I did spend a little time in 1AD

Kirchdorf immer noch mit einer soliden Defense, Montabaur aber mit der schlagstärkeren und variableren Offense. Ich denke Montabaur wird sich hier den Sieg holen.

Wiesbaden Phantoms vs. Franken Knights - 20:21
Bei der Begegnung entscheidet wohl die Tagesform. Ich tendiere eher zu den Knights.

Warum sollte eine Offense die gegen alle anderen Teams auch nur sehr mäßig unterwegs war gegen uns plötzlich zur Übermacht werden? Ich denke das wird ne sehr knappe Sache und ich glaube sogar dass wir das gewinnen können. Es wird zwar schwer gegen die Defense der Canes was zu bewegen aber hier wird wahscheinlich ein "Glückstreffer" schon reichen.

So wie sich die Ants bisher geschlagen haben wird es sicher nicht reichen auch nur ansatzweise eine Klatsche abzuwehren. Mit etwas Glück und hartem Einsatz schaffen sie es aber Zeit von der Uhr zu nehmen und so die Hawks vom Scoren abzuhalten. Allerdings glaub ich nicht so wirklich dran

Montabaur Fighting Farmers - Kirchdorf Wildcats - MFF +12
Die Wildcats haben sich sowohl gegen die Knights als auch gegen die Black Hawks sehr gut geschlagen. Montabaur gegen Knights war aber auch sehr eng. Ich denke es wird ein recht ausgeglichenes Spiel. Das Heimrecht könnte den Ausschlag geben.

Wiesbaden Phantoms - Franken Knights - FK +14
Sicher das Schlagerspield er Woche. Schwer vorherzusagen, ich würde einen sehr attraktiven Schlagabtausch erwarten. Die Knights nach einem durchwachsenen Start von Spiel zu Spiel stärker werdend. Auch im einzigen bisher verlorenen Spiel gegen Plattling wäre ein Sieg durchaus möglich gewesen, erst das 4. Quarter brachte Plattling den Sieg. Beide Teams wissen dass es um alles geht und werden bis zur Erschöpfung kämpfen. Letztenendes entscheidet denke ich die Tagesform.

Sicher ist die Offense der Canes nicht stark, die Defense der Arrows ist aber noch schwächer. Andersherum sollte die Canes-Defense keine grossen Probleme haben die Offense der Arrows zu stoppen. Überlegenheit auf beiden Seiten des Balles für die Ostfranzosen.

And if I read the final report from Kirchdorf correct, no deep balls were given up this weekend, both TD's were on runs by Pav, and a Punt Return by Toure Butler. .......

Ich erwarte ein enges Spiel, MFF mit der variableren Offense.

Wiesbaden - Rothenburg / FK +4
Noch engeres Spiel, wenn die Knights den hessischen Lauf in den Griff kriegen.

Stuttgart - Saarland / SH +28
Beide Teams werden viel Zeit von der Uhr nehmen, Saarland wird sich nach der deutlichen Niederlage in Redcastle wieder rehabilitieren wollen.

Königsbrunn - Plattling / PBH +49
PBH wird frühzeitig alles klar machen, danach kann Jason Olive das Ganze als lockere Vorbereitung für WP in zwei Wochen sehen und zwei Gänge zurückschalten.

Farmers gegen Kirchdorf: Heimrecht gibt den Ausschlag...gegen Montabaur? Zumindest hast du für Kirchdorf getippt. Oder hast du dich nur vertan?

Montabaur - Kirchdorf: +5 MFF
Ich befürchte das hier die Farmers mit dem Heimrecht den entscheidenden Vorteil auf ihrer Seite haben. Die Kirchdorfer gegen PBH ist glaube ich keine Vergleich, da es ein Derby war und zuhause. Da wollte man sich keine Blöße geben. Trotzdem knappe Kiste mit dem Glück nicht auf bayerischer Seite.

Wiesbaden - Rothenburg: Wiesbaden +14
Rothenburg wird trotz der Entfernung das best mögliche Aufgebot stellen, da hier entschieden wird ob es ein Zwei- oder Dreikampf um die Tabellenspitze geben wird. Phantoms aber zuhause mit dem gleichen Wissen wird sich anstrengen es beim Zweikampf zu belassen.
