Treber will halt auch mal hinter "The Secrets of Passes" kommen (ironisch gemeint nich dass mich gleich einer frisst). @Stuttgart: Das ist GFL2 ihr habt euch auf diesen Level auch ein weiteres Jahr eingelassen, also weint nicht rum wenn Wiesbaden das ein oder andere Play ausprobiert. Ich finde es peinlich wenn ein GFL2 Team hier rumjammert, dass sie keine Spieler mehr haben.
Ihr habt euch vor der Saison für diese Liga entschieden, also hört bitte damit auf.

Don't fool yourself, the backup QB was in but, the rest were all starters. real backups were not on the field until under 3 minutes left in the game, this is the 2nd time this season that WP has been throwing the ball late in the 4th trying to run up the score....they broke a long run in the 4th no problem with that but throwing the ball with basically your starting offense on the field in the 4th qtr of a lopsided game is just ridiculous.

The truth is: You can't even stop a 19 year old QB in its first season at GFL 2 level.

JDL how should a 19 year old QB gain experience if he does no passing.
You are just upset because a 19 year old German is playing better than you because he has a solid O'line.

In the NFL it may be ethical only to win in GFL2 it is different.

Raynor no problem with it in the 2nd & 3rd qtr, but late in the 4th? just not necasary...there are certain edicates in sports (at least in the states) you don't steal bases after the 7th inning if you up by more than 5 runs. Starters don't shoot 3 pointers in the 4th qtr if your up by 20 and you don't throw the ball in the 4th qtr when your up big.....didn't everyone get all over Franken's ass last year when they did the same? Beside #9 is the better passer of the QB's that WP has.....have no problem with the players they are just running the plays the coach calls.

You know what? I told myself that i wouldnt argue on the forum this season but this is pathetic.

In football, it is the defense's JOB to stop the other teams offense. I noticed that you guys didn't even try to play with heart. After the first drive of the game when our DE scored on the fumble recovery, you guys hung your heads. It isnt the other teams place to feel sorry for a team who dressed up and didnt come to play. This is a mans sport and it is physical.

Jalloh was the starter- Buzz came in also Perrier and Matz so that goes to show you that the starters didnt play the entire game. We are just blessed to have such great RBs.

Grimm played in the second till the 3rd and then the Rookie Marius came in to finish the game. I hope you dont expect him to get better from just handing the ball off. Besides the run was doing 10x more damage then the pass.

I have nothing against the arrows but dont bad talk our team just because you didnt show up to play.

We probably could have scored about 90 but our coach was trying new thing and his intent wasn't to do a team that bad. We scored more points the first game we played against you so i dont understand why you are complaining.

You guys were talking about how you had such a better team and how this year was gonna be different well..... back it up and stop whinning in a mans game.

51 zu 0 o.k. Aber wenn der Rookie QB auf dem Feld ist egal ob im fünften oder sechsten Quarter gibt man ihm die Plays die er für seine Entwicklung braucht. Wenn ein GFL2 Team dann immer noch nicht in der Lage ist dies einigermaßen adäquat in den Schranken zu halten sollte man die Fehler nicht beim gegnerischen Team suchen. Ich war nicht da, aber ein 51 zu 0 sieht für mich eher so aus als wenn die Phantoms auf einen völlig überforderten Gegner getroffen werden. Schlachtet man jemand 80 zu 0 ab dann gebe ich dem Coach von Stuttgart recht.
Und wie College und Highschool Teams in den Staaten unterlegene Teams abschlachten um besser im Ranking dazustehen, wurde hier ja hier letztes Jahr schon ausführlich diskutiert und sogar mir böse angekreidet. Also JDL halte dich mit der Ethik amerikanischer Teams bitte zurück.

Also zum Spiel Stuttgart - Wiesbaden kann ich nur so viel sagen:
Stuttgart in der Offense ohne J.D. Lindsay harmlos. Die O-Line in erneut anderer Zusammensetzung angetreten.
Die Defense zu Beginn wieder nicht auf dem Platz. Erst in der zweiten Halbzeit lief es besser.
Wiesbaden souverän in der ersten Halbzeit. Zum Ende der ersten Halbzeit, beim Stand von 37:0 noch versucht zu scoren, aber das war meines Erachtens okay.
Wann wie viele Back ups auf dem Feld waren, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Sicher wurden ein paar eingesetzt, aber kein Vergleich mit Stuttgart .
Klar auch, dass sich Wiesbaden keine Blöße geben darf. Das 0:0 im dritten Quarter war so sicher nicht eingeplant. Zum Ende hin mehr Lauf hätte mich gefreut, auf meine alten Tage war das letzte Viertel ganz schön lang .

Das war von uns heute eine nicht 2-Liga taugliche Vorstellung... Mit Abstand eines der schlechtesten Spiele überhaupt von uns.

Die Gründe hierfür sind uns bekannt und daran müssen und werden wir arbeiten.

Denke auch WP wird dieses Jahr klar Meister werden, denn sie haben die größte Kadertiefe und gute BackUps (RB, OL,...). Und genau das wird wohl in den kommenden Spielen den entscheidenden Unterschied machen.

I have to agree with RE as well especially if they werent even trying ot score. I mean backups in, trying new plays etc etc, thats about all you can do to keep from running up the score. After that, the defense just has to do their job and stop them.

In general I do understand what JDL is saying with the "honor" among coaches in that you shouldnt try to run up the score at the end, but the German system also doesnt really support that since points matter in tiebreakers more than head to head record.

Tja, so sieht es die Regel vor: Zwei unsportsmanlike Conducts innerhalb eines Spiels bedeuten nun mal die DQ. Genau genommen waren sie auch verdient, wobei man die erste auch als Personal Foul hätte deklarieren können, aber die zweite war einfach nur dumm, eine verbale Entgleisung, die so nicht passieren darf. Hat damit seinem Team sicher keinen großen Dienst erwiesen, denn er fehlt dadurch beim Phantomsspiel auswärts.

Die zwei TDs am Schluss waren echte Schmankerl: DD Offense kurz vor der eigenen Goalline, Shotgun, schlechter Snap, Alexnader kann den Ball nicht kontrollieren, Ball springt wieder hoch und Markus Schwarz fangt das Ei in der Endzone - aufatmen ...
DD kurz vor der Knights Endzone, Pass in die Endzone, LB #3 Freddy Mechler mit der Interception für ca 100 Yards zum TD ... Echt geil.

hätte einfach auch echt anders ausgehen können
