As far as i remember Matz & Co. sat out most of the second half and Yalloh celebrates his first game after a two-year-injury-break. There were a lot of FB dives, but ..... for sure ...... 20 fourth quarter points looks ugly just by reading the scoreboard.
There are no back up QBs with Grimm & Reuels backing themselves up every game

But an new kid is on the block now with 19 year old Marius Markgraf, coming off the Phantoms Juniors. Sadly Montabaur was too strong

to see him for more than holding the PATs in that game.

O.K. Here are a better example. Another famous Coach on a Sunday afternoon.

And please understand I´m not a Franken supporter.

Belichoke got his in the end! He is a punk too!
Thanks for the info Legend, I didn't make this game, but didn't think this was something Treber would do. Habelt has a little different history. There is the famous banana game with Kirchdorf last season, and I know someone told me that the run it up strategy almost backfired in Franken - Montabaur 1. Help me out Montabaur guys. If I am wrong, I will send everyone here an I F!@#$% up message and apologize on here publicly for even mentioning the RUMOR, there is just history here Muff! Investigating minds want to know!

It goes down in GFL2 lore that Coach Habelt was given a banana from the Kirchdorf Coaching Staff for running the score up last season verses Kirchdorf...wasn't there, maybe that is a rumor too, BUT one of our fine posters mentioned that "there was no banana given" at the end of his post. I know we have a lot of Kirchdorf forum members, someone can surely tell the story better than I ever could

Also die Geschichte in Montabaur war mit Sicherheit kein "running up the score".
War also nichts spektakuläres dran.

Thanks Corpse, you are back on my A list!
Let me see...Do I kneel on the ball and get out of here with a 3-point victory, or try to score just 1 MORE TD to make it look a little better??? Too bad they didn't pick up the fumble and run 90 yards! What comes around goes around! Trust me, you will get yours one day!

This is not running up the score. This is stupid if it was like in the press article.

Looks like a little of both to me, trying to save a little face since Franken WAS supposed to win the GFL2 coming into the season and sit with 2 losses 2 games behind 1/2 way through the season.

the banana story is a true story...I was there!

There was a photo in the forum last year, that had the pic of Franken's coach eating the banana after recieving the good sportsmanship award from the Kirchdorf coaching staff. I wish I would have been there to watch him cough it up in Munich a few weeks later.
Shit happens and I don't think that Franken could have prevented themselves from putting up 70 points against an out-manned, out-coached Konigsbrunn team. I mean Plattling and Wiesbaden managed to score alot less than that, but don't let me tell it, I wasn't there.
I'm pretty sure that if Franken did that intentionally, Karma will catch up with them sooner or later. But congrats anyway to Franken on another victory.
