Als erste Veranstaltung im Rahmen der Woche des Super Bowl XL finden die Spiele im berühmten Pontiac Silverdome in der Zeit vom 25. Januar bis 29. Januar 2006 statt. Zum 10 Geburtstag der NFL Global Junior Championship wird der Silverdome Plattform und Bühne für 180 der Top Jugend Footballspieler (19 Jahre und jünger) aus aller Welt. Während der Super Bowl Woche werden die Nationalmannschaften von mehreren Schulen in Detroit, Michigan betreut.
Partner der Deutschen Nationalmannschaft ist die Notre Dame Prep in Pontiac, Michigan.
