France wins the 2004 European Junior Championship in Moscow. In the Final the french team beats Germany 17 : 14 (6 : 7). Again the german juniors could not win the final game like two years ago when they lost in Glasgow against Russia, this time fourth place behind the bronce medalist Austria.
Congratulation to France for their first outstanding championship success in european tackle football.

In the final Germany leads by 6 :0 first. France could go into halftime with a 7 : 6. The second halftime results switched every couple of minutes. After another german touchdown and a two point conversion for a 14 : 7, the french team could score equal to 14 : 14. A fieldgoal by France could not be equalized by Germany, which had about 6 turnovers in the game.
