He also was in against Ravensburg and played special teams. Its on the film.
You need to read your BSO rules, a player who passes pass check if he plays or not is a participant of the game, he is counted as a body for the purpose of enough players to meet the requirements of the BSO policy that dictates the amount of players that a team must have to play the game regardless if he played or not. As per advantage, if 25 players are needed to play the game, and he is number 25 then the game plays on...
Rules are Rules and if they are broken then they must be followed.
1. You can not be a member of two clubs, if you are released you must sit out 5 games. He did not, he played against RR and JH. 1st infraction.
2. He had knew he was still a member of another club yet he signed a players pass, he intentionally broke a regulation and the Club he signed with also was responsible because they did not check, ask or care that he had played with the other club. The first question a Coach asks a player who walks on is have you played somewhere else before, or where were you playing? Please we are not so stupid. Answer me this why did he not participate in the Frankfurt game when he did in Ravenburg and Jena? Did someone else know too?
The club is held responsible not the player. Ignorance is no excuse. If the player has not officially been released, he can not play at all. Ask Terry Perry last season when the said club did not release his pass. He did not play for Hanau.
So he was never an official member and was signed illegally and thus the Club broke the BSO rule. He was still in effect a player of the other club.
He never asked to be released and therefore he was played against the rule.
Even if he were released, he participated in two games illegally, he must sit out 5. The club would know this rule and can not plead ignorance.
Lastly the FP beat us, they wanted more and I congratulate them. But they did break BSO policy just like FU did two years ago against Giessen with C. Pearl. They too lost the game because of policy and club ignorance of the rule was not an excuse to the BSO ruling.
Play fair, play by the rules and have fun...after all its just a game.
