weather was perfect today, it stopped raining around 12:00 and only started again right after the game. Fellbach borrowed the Scorpions old Jerseys so the video will look somewhat funny.
All in all a very good game for both sides, the spectators had something to watch. Fellbach ran a similar offense to Backnang's, but they did it much better. Both offenses and defenses really bashed each other up good. There were a lot of injuries on Fellbach's side, but they brought like 40 players so they had reserves
It was a fight right down to the last play of the game, I wish all games were played with this intensity. I will let the other teams who were there tell the rest of the story.
*Edit* to those other teams, if you wouldnt mind sending us your footage, that would be great. It doesnt have to be right now of course, the end of the year is good enough. Its always good to have multiple sources from which to take scenes for the years highlights videos, and today there were more than a few

Agreed, two smash mouth styles of football (Power I vs Double Wing) definitely will bash each other up over the course of 48 mins! I actually thought I was watching a pre-1933 NFL football game ha ha. For the trivia challenged among us, the forward pass wasn't allowed in the NFL until 1933.
FYI: The "secret" Fellbach offense that everyone should be worried about was just the old-fashioned "Double Wing"...take that for what its worth.

Wolverines machen 20 punkte in der ersten halbzeit.. und das Wolfpack bekommt gefühlte 1000 yards strafe. 2. halbzeit verlief dann von den strafen her ruhiger und war auch spielerisch ausgeglichener. Also mal so meine sicht. Hartes und meistens faires game.
Gegen aalen die 2. halbzeit verkackt und diesmal die 1. voll verpennt..

sehr spannendes spiel in heilbronn wobei fellbach gefühlt immer näher am touchdown war. heilbronn aber am schluss nochmal gas gegeben und die fellbacher in bedrängnis gebracht, spiel hätte aber schon früher entschieden werden müssen (von fellbacher seite)!
was war das für ein call bei dem punt return td? habs nicht mitbekommen...
forward pass war nicht viel los leider, fellbach hats öfter mal versucht aber zu oft überworfen, bei heilbronn glaub bei 2 versuchen 2 INTs...

pass completions hatten wir auch, leider wirklich nicht sehr viel versuche. die 2 INTs sind nach die completed passes geschehen.

Wie man sich doch täuschen kann
Insgesamt waren es 75 yds Strafen gegen Backnang und 80 yds gegen Bad Mergentheim.
Wenn das Klima eine Bank wäre, wäre es längst gerettet!
