I hear you Big Tom but all of those points are arguable, so let's stick to the facts. Fact is that right now based on the Titans record they are clearly not an Oberliga-level Mannschaft. If you lose every game against the "existing" teams within a league then you simply should not be allowed to stay at that level.
Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying that the CT program is not deserving of respect for what they have endured this season but we shouldn't reward teams for simply surviving a season. Being able to make it to the higher leagues should be solely based on your "on the field" merits and with that goes a responsibility to prove that you belong at a certain level. Fortunately in sports that proof can easily be found in the win-loss column and speculation can be thrown out the window.
Two simple questions to think about:
a) Did the Crailsheim Titans win any games ON THE FIELD this year in the Oberliga?
b) Did the Crailsheim Titans win more games ON THE FIELD than any other team in the Oberliga?
If you answer "No" to those two questions what possible argument could you make that would still justify them staying at that level?
Note: Please don't give the "12 games is better than 10" argument as that isn't truly a valid justification for Crailsheim to stay as you could achieve that by also bringing up the top two VL teams.
