According to www.unicorns.de, Coach Gehrke is still the head coach and OC, Stacy Martin is the DC, and Andreas Wengertsmann is the Special Teams Coordinator. I see your mistake though, you are using a translator and can`t really read German. Those translators are not very good. The article you mentioned said that Wengertsmann was the DC in Stuttgart before, and years ago also in Hall. It also basically said that who did what was still to be ironed out then but hints that the coaches would work together without problems because they knew one another from Stuttgart before.

But its players with-out the GFL 1 experience, will have a full season under them. 1st timers in big games is the problem...but sometimes it is a benefit also, young excited and play above their level. I really don´t see the other teams that out athlete Kiel...to put the pun lightly, everyone is on an even keel.... English joke.

Kiel will be a playoff team, but not for playing above themselves. Anderson knows what it takes to win in the GFL, they will start slow and steadily get better. Lions and Blue Devils, everyone knows how strong those teams are, they are in, behind them who is really set? Dresden is terrible right now, Colgone has their problems, Berlin - not sure but anytime I see write ups saying basically "a good offense is the best defense" that is not a good thing. Teams don`t win championships like that. I think Kiel will have their stuff in order to get into the playoffs but will take a first round exit. Next year at the earliest is when I figure them to be a threat to the big boys.

Es wurde zwar schon gesagt, aber Kiel ist eben ein Aufsteiger. Immer noch. Guter Coach, punktuell gut verstärkt, aber doch eben ein Aufsteiger. Kent hat ja nicht das ganze Team ausgetauscht, oder etwa doch. Ich denke, Kiel wird hin und wieder für einige Überraschung sorgen, aber das maximale, was die erreichen können sind die Play-Offs.
Für mich ist Hamburg, Braunschweig für die ersten zwei Plätze. Berlin ist eine kleine unbekannte, sollte aber mit Kiel um Platz drei und vier kämpfen. Köln und Dresden kämpfen um die rote Laterne. Wird interessant wie sich Köln am Sonntag im IC-Game präsentiert, so ganz ohne Vorbereitungsspiel. sollten sie es verlieren, wird es für die Kölner eine ganz, ganz lange Saison
