Looks like someone got bored and decided to hype the game with a prediction. Just remember that YOU have to back that shit up.

You go Hated Black Hawk! Looks like you just became public enemy #1 from Plattling, much like DA in Wiesbaden. Just remember though, it ain't talking shit when you back it up!
HOWEVER, although I've been loving a lot on Plattling in the past, I just don't see where you are going to be able to get the rushing attack of Wiesbaden off the field long enough to play offense, just too many weapons on Wiesbaden. And when you stack 8 in the box to stop the run, you get burned, just like Plattling - Wiesbaden 1, just like Franken Wiesbaden. The QB tandem in Wiesbaden is not flashy, but effective. Add to that what I personally feel is the best Defense in the GFL2 and you end up with a Wiesbaden win. I didn't make it up, just going by what I've heard all 41 of my years, Defense and a running attack = Championships, and Wiesbaden has both.
I too like someone else stated think Plattling will come out with a few tricks up their sleeve this week, but that is the difference between a good and great team. Great teams don't have to rely on trickery to win, they rely on the fundamentals, they go back to their bread and butter ala Lombardi's Packers "Lombardi Sweep". Everyone knew it was coming, but no one could stop it "consistently". You know that Wiesbaden is going to ram the ball off tackle down your throat, time after time after time, and expect the same a week from today. I don't think Treber will get fancy, because, in my mind, I think he thinks you can't stop it! He is a great coach, in my mind best in GFL2 "no Pete Carroll though
", he will have his boys ready to go. In the end, here is the prediction no one has been waiting for - Wiesbaden 28 - Plattling 17 WP +11

Dampf - Calling it like I saw it going INTO the game. Obviously Pete Carroll got outcoached and his Trojans are watching another National Championship on TV, maybe in Darmstadt
Look back through the posts, you'll see I've done a lot of loving on Plattling in the past, but even YOU couldn't tell me going into the game that Plattling would score 58!
Also, either Wiesbaden was shaking off rust the 1st quarter from the busride, or the Plattling Defense was dominant early because from reading the game reports, obviously the running attack wasn't happening, at least not early. From what I've heard (wasn't there, on the fan bus that broke down in Wiesbaden
), the only real running play ran for success was the QB draw. The RB's were held in check for the most part.
Just 1 reminder Dampf, it is a fan forum, I'll continue to call it like I see it, and when I am wrong, I will man up to it, don't need you telling me about my lack of football experience.
Congrads Bob Stoops, you smoked Pete Carroll's ass. Good luck the rest of the season, but WHEN you slip (twice LOL) I still get my GFL1 in Wiesbaden next season!

By the way Slimjim, my Dad can kick your Dad's ass! As Bruschii said, don't be a hater! Wiesbaden got beat by a better team, and from the looks of it, we will get an opportunity to see how Marburg will fare against the fun and gun at Plattling...albeit next season.
Let's hope Plattling can keep its team together for a next season run. My take, they'd be a middle of the pack GFL1 South team this season. They are not physical enough yet to deal with the Power Running games in the South, but they would STILL score a lot of points. They beat Munich Pre-Season, will kill Darmstadt in relegation, and might even beat the Unicorns who are down this season.
