Welcome to American Football in Germany (especially in April)! But you must always remember football is NOT the primary field sport in Germany. Unfortunately for us football players, fans etc, the Field Manager (who usually works for the city) will always make his decision based on what he feels is best for the field and NOT for the game. Bad enough their is the WRONG impression that American Football destroys a field more than Fussball (even when dry), so letting us play once the field gets really soaked with water is DEFINITELY not going to happen in Germany.

I still think its funny how they cancel football games, then after the soccer players tear up the field, they blame it on the football players.
