Congrads to the Black Hawks on their first GFL1 victory! It looks like the defense finally came to play a ball game. When this happens, hold on GFL1, it could get fun. As I said last week, the offense is GFL1 ready. The Defense has the GFL1 talent, but I think probably lacked confidence following 2 tough PRESEASON games Cormega79...Preseason. However, the lack of execution bled over until the 1st few GFL games. It is not too late to turn things around and win 4 - 6 ballgames.
For those that think Essen will just run the Black Hawks off the field, as Lee Corso on College Gameday would say, "NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND!" EAC was the benefit of many BL injuries, Voss early, and suspenseions because of doping violations. Their pass defense is suspect at best, and they have not seen what Plattling will bring to the table in the form of speed. Even KBH does not have the WR's that Plattling does, and BL minus Voss was down to Hanselmann!
Too bad for Munich! Injuries are part of the game, but the loss of Morris and Schober have REALLY hurt. I heard Seidel played this weekend, which should give them some much needed help in the secondary, but it doesn't get any easier this weekend. The toughest thing Berlin will face will be the bus ride! Look for another massacre this weekend!
My only question - does this mean Wiesbaden is still #8

???
