As long as we retain our playerbase, the Miners will be in the VL again next year. With some good luck we may even have a youth team again.
Season 2009 was the longest season I have ever played in, in all my years of football: from April till the end of September (but it did not contain the highest number of games I have ever had in a single season)
I am really looking forward to playing against a few teams again next year, especially Crailsheim *without* a broken rib this time
and against Böblingen of course. Not just due to the sportsmanship between the two teams, but I really like their phenomenal linear improvement over the past season.
Also I am anxious to see who drops down from the upper leagues, who climbs up from the LL, and what teams just "appear" out of the blue into the league.

Never judge a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then you are a mile away AND you have their shoes.

2010 will definitely be interesting in VL...might even see a 12 game season who knows.Parker hat geschrieben:As long as we retain our playerbase, the Miners will be in the VL again next year. With some good luck we may even have a youth team again.

Speculation is the best so based on the rumor mill we already have the following teams possibly registering for the VL in 2010:
Aalen Limes Praetorians
Backnang Wolverines
Bad Mergentheim Wolfpack
Boeblingen Bears
Crailsheim Titans
Fellbach Warriors
Heilbronn Salt Miners
Schwaebisch Hall Unicorns 2
Stuttgart Silver Arrows (??)
Dang, that's potentially 9 teams already without any of the Landesliga teams coming up. If more teams register for the VL, then it might make sense to let the Titans move up (or let Fellbach stay) to the Oberliga in order to make the number of teams in the VL and OL more manageable. Makes more sense to have 8 in Oberliga and also 8 in VL rather than 10 in VL and 6 in OL. But either way, let's wait a few weeks for the next few rumors to roll out

Also wenn Schw. Hall 2 in der verbandsliga spielen will, braucht Schw. Hall lt.
Guess we will have to see what happens over the next months. How close are SHA and Crailsheim?Basti76 hat geschrieben:Also wenn Schw. Hall 2 in der verbandsliga spielen will, braucht Schw. Hall lt.
