also jetzt mal hand aufs herz - nur weil plattling vermutlich paar jungs aus münchen bekommt heißt das lange noch nicht das sie eine große rolle spielen werden. auch rosenberg wird sie nicht zu einem topteam im süden machen. Was hat er denn in Müchen geschafft? meiner meinung nach wird marburg den süden dominieren und münchen und plattling platz 5 und 6 zwischen sich ausmachen.

Plattling wird um den Südtitel mispielen. Marburg ebenso. Hall ist stark, ob es zur Titelverteidigung reicht?

München geht mit vielen Spielen Anlauf in die Relegation.

Sorry man, not sure you know who John Rosenburg is?? Let me see...JR coached for several years with the most winningest coach in College Football History, Joe Pa! He was the Head Coach of a College Football Team. He won a German Bowl and a championship with Bergamo. He is, if not the best coach in Germany, damn sure in the top 2! Did you see the job John did with Munich talent, no imports, 2 seasons ago, and what he did his first year in the GFL2?? This guy can flat out coach! Plattling's offense was among the top in the GFL last year, and all they have done is added another WR to the mix. I think it is a done deal that Robertson and Blakley return. Add Jerome Morris to the mix, and who knows what else comes, this will be the #1 Offense in Germany, bet it sports fans! What Plattling lacked was a defense. The Cowboys had one of the top defenses in Germany the past 2 seasons, the coordinator and HC come to Plattling. They have added a D1 LB. If Ziernecke is really coming, the #1 Sacks leader from last year, GFL1...and they will finish 5th or 6th???

Dude, send me some of that stuff you are smoking. Plattling hasn't earned anything yet, and I ain't ready to jump back on that bandwagon yet and proclaim them champs, but on paper, they are as good as ANYONE, GFL1 or 2, with a top 3 Coaching staff. Anything less than a top 2 finish in the South, in my eyes, is a disappointing season! Marburg will be tough! SH, if they bring back Rupp and add a better RB/WR, could be tough again, but look at how Munich played SH last season with FAR inferior talent. Herron/JR ain't afraid of the spread, ESPECIALLY considering they face it in practice every week with better athletes. Marburg 1, Plattling 2, SH 3, Stuttgart 4, Weinheim buys another year because Munich is so bad 5, and Munich 6, GFL2 bound!

also ich weiß sehr wohl was rosnberg bis jetzt gemacht hat und das er ein toller coach is ..... aber wie du schon sagst auf dem papier is plattling bis jetzt top - super !! ich hab sie spielen gesehn letztes jahr und meiner meinung nach is da nichts an deutscher substanz was vorne mithalten kann. also ball flach halten und abwarten denn auf dem papier hat noch niemand ein spiel gewonnen.

Does anyone miss German Football? I guess this is a tired subject with the Cowboys marching their way through the playoffs to a Superbowl Showdown with the Ravens. That's right, ILTG called it first. You might as well go on Pinnacle and BWIN and bet it!

Back to more important things, I am not sure I understand where Roman was going hiring a 22 year old kid to run his offense, but Roman is an accomplished coach. From what I have heard, he is also bringing all the Mercenaries that went to Hohenems back with him. Siebrecht is back, Ingravalle is back, Nau is back. They have a real DC and proven winner in Roman, this team will be back and better than ever. This team has what Plattling lacks, experience, and this is the difference and why they win it all this year in the South.

The question Mark is who is the next Sean Cooper. Coop carried the offense the last few years, and I have heard Cooper is not back. The OL is getting older, but still a top 3 line. JU has a strong group of receivers, and if he falls, Hoppe is not far off.

haha stimmt du hast recht - danke für den denkanstoß so weit hab ich natürlich nicht gedacht. ich freu mich auf die neue saison bin mal gespannt wer überzeugen wird.

Also ich seh auch Marburg als das "team to beat" und ich geh davon aus, dass sie auch ohne Sean Cooper für jeden Gegner schwer vom Punkten abzuhalten werden sein.

Wenn die Defense der Plattlinger sich nächste Saison darum bemüht den Namen Defense tragen zu dürfen, werden sie mit Schwäbisch Hall um das zweite Erstrundenheimspiel kämpfen.
Von der Offense haben sie ja letztes Jahr schon gezeigt was möglich ist.
Schwäbisch Hall hat wohl das beste Passspiel der Liga und sie sollten genauso solide wie letztes Jahr spielen. Vielleicht dieses Jahr mit dem glücklicheren Ende

Stuttgart sollte man aber auch nicht vernachlässigen, haben auch ein Wort mitzureden bei der Playoffplatzierung. Ausser dem Weggang von Vandever hab ich aber noch nichts gehört aus dem "Schwabenländle"

Weinheim bleibt ein Fragezeichen und München könnte als Underdog dieses Jahr vielleicht doch so manchem ein Bein stellen.
