Hooo HAAAAA football season is gonna start....
The Big Question is who will be the Power of the South?????
F-Knights, new everything, last season the Defense was OK at best and only did shine when pushed in the two WP´s games. But when it can to Beer Town, the city with the famous beer halls they fell flat on their face. New QB, New HC, New Defense, New Offense... will they be the new champion.? Odds are they will I see them at 12-2, One loss to WP´s and one loss because everyone has a bad day.
WP´s, I have heard over and over again oh they lost this guy and this guy and they don´t have a QB and the new OC will do this or that. Firstly, one fine HC, and one real good OC. Second , WP´s have been deep for years in the talent department new faces , hungry players who have been waiting in line for a chance to play. Solid Defense, possibly the best in the GFL2 and the Offense will be slow in starting but will really take-off mid season. They must win the first three games, if they can do this they will be set for a 12-2 play-off winner takes all like last season Vs. FK. If they can´t get the Offense running they will finish 10-4.
Saarland Hurricanes, this may be the big surprise this year. They have many new additions from the Youth team, Rookies yes but maybe to dumb to know that they are suppose to play like rookies not vets. AS as QB is always a threat and the Defense will be soild and big. This is there second season of being a real good ball club, and by that can possibly win the Big Games in the last 2 Mins ... I see them as one of the Dark Horses. If they win Two of the Big three games then we could see a 10-4 Three way tie with FK/WP and SH.
The Bandits, New Asst. Coach in M, Washington minus Danny. The Defense is going to be good I guarantee you that, the issue is the offense, what weapons do they have? I really do not think they can get to 7-7 if they do this will be a good season. But, watch out, if a Big team has a bad day they may win the game that is needed to win the division, I see them as possible spoilers of one of the Big Three teams.
DD...surprised me last season and came on strong in the last 5 games. They have a New QB, who can run and throw well enough, but the receiver corps is old, still great hands but old. The running game is solid but what about a strong defense front can the Old O-Line handle it. The Diamonds need new blood if they are going to be contenders, the Vets are still OK but injury and age will get in the way. Defense, Hey Always Great! NO change there, but the Offense will struggle. 9-5 at best.
I spoke of a Dark Horse, and Hanau is just that. They have acquired some real good ball players on both sides of the Ball, solid Vets and Team Leaders. The Defense is going to be the second best in the League. the Offense will be questionable, but If it clicks early in the season they maybe a contender, we will see a key injury could really hurt them. Teams better not take them lightly, If they can win 3 of the 4 games in MAY ...then May Day! will be the call from the rest of the League. Victories over SH, FK and WP...will have them at 11-3 at seasons end with 4 teams looking to see who wins by points. If they do not open like a wildfire, 8-6 at best.
The Pikes and Twisters.... will finish at the bottom. Young teams, need more experience and deeper talent. 6-8 and 4-10.
Hey this is just my opinion, you have yours and I have mine, I have no favorites here, so do not go crazy calling me names and things...it could hurt my feelings.
I am just a big fan of GFL2 and I am really excited about the season.
To all the teams I wish you the best of luck and may the wind be at your backs and the sun on your faces.

Make Texican the President of AFVD.
He promises, Beer at all games, Cheerleaders who are Hot and GFL 1-2-3 and players get to be on TV.

Mother F##ker! always an idiot...its a forum, and cyber tool used to express oneself or make comments...like I have seen ant eaters who are more than your equal in the brains department.

Okay! Everybody is excited about this upcoming season. But people lets not start putting teams in the hunt because of what is on paper. You can have a team full of great players but how will the team fair playing together. All i am trying to say is lets wait and see who will end at the top and the bottom. This year is an open year in my eyes just like every year.
