I would really love to be able to play next year in GFL 2 so I can see the real difference in competition and talent as everyone has been telling us. Unfourtunatley my time will be up next year the Air force is sending my family and I back to the states but I will surely be checking in.......but as for the walking out on the field at first we thought that might just be something you guys do in Germany until we really saw the reaction on our teammates faces and then like I said we really got fired up LOL!!!

The Pikes are fired up and excited to get back to GFL2 and Im glad I could help them and also happy I had a chance to play football again. Big ups to all you guys and keep playing hard!!!

I'm back in the states.... glad you are going home... I'm trying to make 1 last run in good old Dland before I hang up my cleats.... I'm not German but I've never seen anyone "walk" out on the field like that... but the Universe think they do things the way that we do in the states.. what they don't realize is that all they see is the MTV version of the USA and American football... that is why they are so arrogant and have no respect. What they see on TV they think is real. What they don't see is the 4-6 hours of training we do 7 days a week from the age of 8 years old. They don't see the sacrifice for the communities we play in, or the integrity as a team that is so important to us Americans. They definitely don't understand the relationship between a coach and their players..... i could never imagine smoking cigarettes in front of my coach.. or drinking in front of him. I was raised to think that coach was G-D, Father, and Employer......

LOL thats the point. You just gauge something you have seen. I dont know if you realised that the team of the Frankfurt Universe DOES also have players and coaches who used to play on colleges and professional levels! So we know what we do and we dont need any "football movies to act like the same" .We do respect every team, but we just dont fear em. And we are not arrogant. Every Coach in football teaches the players to be convinced on watchu do. WE ARE just like all the other teams in germany. And we are no wannabes. We just do it our way. And thats (in my opinion) what makes the organsation and the team so special. every team is diffrent. And for us theres NO reason to be arrogant. We are just usuall ppl like you We practice, we eat, we sleep.... and so on.

I think you are right on this one, not everyone knows that, but its not just the universe. I think there are even some pikes and other teams who dont know that kind of experience americans live.

Who the fuck are you to question our integrity or values, and who the fuck are you to question our upbringing?

We love to play this game, we don't get paid just like everybody else and make as much sacrifices as our jobs and families allow us to. I don't know who you're refering to but this doesn't describe us even slightly. We don't think we the shit either, we're as confident in our abilities and as aware of our weaknesses and limitations as it is the case with every other team in this league, some more and some less that's the way it always is. I don't think we're special, most of us don't. Apparently you do.

So unless you step to one of us personally and tell us that our momma didn't do a good job teaching us about respect, integrity and all that good stuff, just cut that shit out.

I'm sure he didnt mean to offend your up bringing or question your intergrity. As I have been on this forum for the past few months you guys do have love for this game which I was totally suprised that football was reciving so much love overseas in the states we had no idea it was still alive over here since NFL Europe fell apart....I'm sure it was a ton of fun over here back then also.

But Like I started with I dont believe that he meant any harm with what he said it just probably came out wrong, but then again I dont know him persoanlly and he is a grown man who can speak for himself.

We can all have our opinions, and I won't even give my own true opinion as an American because so many of you will flip your shit here. I don't appreciate it when other Americans go over seas and act like fucking clowns because the non Americans don't know any better, and it makes me even more sick when I see non-Americans emulating this kind of bullshit behavior because they see a few of us doing it.

Thank god I was never on a team that was that desperate for attention..... winning usually did all the talking we needed to do. In fact if a team ever pulled the shit that FU did with their walking in ... at our home field... there would have been serious problems... Trotz dem ganzen Zeug das im Vorfeld des Spiels passiert ist. (Hose verbrennen, langsamer Einlauf von Frankfurt, Einlauf sprengen von Kaiserslautern u.s.w.) konnte man nach dem Spiel Spieler beider Seiten sehen die miteinander gesprochen haben.
Den im Gegensatz zu den ganzen Deppen die hier teilweise einfach nur sch... schreiben. Wollten die Jungs einfach nur spielen da wird sich auf dem Feld und auch kurz vorher nichts geschenkt. Aber nach dem Spiel kann man auch mal ein Bierchen trinken. Also last doch einfach mal das ganze rumgeheule hier.

Und noch mal ganz kurz zu den bösen Imports von Frankfurt das waren am Wochenende genau drei wenn ich das richtig gezählt habe. Ein OL, ein DL/FB und LB. Bei Kaiserslautern waren da ca.5 oder 6.
Nur mal so für alle die ímmer noch meinen das Frankfurt die einzige Mannschaft ist die Imports einsetzt.

Lieber Himmel, das is ein Kram hier. Ich bin Fan der Universe, und kann die eine wie die andere Seite nachvollziehen, nur letztlich bringt es nix, sich ständig immer und immer wieder diegleichen Argumente und Gegenargumente an den Kopp zu ballern.

Hört Euch doch mal selbst zu, is echt ziemlich lächerlich das ganze gebashe hier. Das Spiel ist gespielt, Frankfurt hat ordentlich seine Grenzen gezeigt bekommen und damit haben die Pikes den Titel und Schluß. Beide Teams gehen einen Stock höher und haben somit eine tolle Saison gespielt und können sehr stolz sein.

Der ganze Rest ist echt Kindergarten und sollte wohl jetzt auch langsam mal beendet sein.

Allerdings sollte man nie hergehen und die Einstellung einzelner Spieler in Frage zu stellen, nur weil sie nicht Football spielen, seitdem Sie die Windeln abgegeben haben. Ich denke jeder in D weiß, was es heißt Football zu spielen, das muss man sich alles deutlich mehr erkämpfen als in den Staaten, dort isses Nationalsport hier eben nur ne Randsportart, gerade deswegen sollte man allen Spielern den Respekt zollen, den jeder Einzelne verdient.

Pikes haben aber keine Import-Spieler! Der, soweit ich weiß, erste und letzte Import war Jamaal in der GFL II 2010!

Also für mich ist ein Import einfach ein Ami ob der nun von einer Ami-Base kommt oder ob der extra von drüben geholt wird. Und soweit ich weiß ist eine Ami-Base auch kein Deutsches Gebiet sondern gehört zu den USA das heißt das sie doch von dort importiert worden sind. also hört einfach mal mit diesem das sind keine Imports Behauptungen auf.

achso Eric Hoerl und Michael Carter sprechen nur so Amerikanisch und haben auch nicht das Footballspielen in den USA gelernt.

PS: Noch kurz zum Schluss, ich bin nicht gegen Imports ich finde die bereichern die Liga. Bin nur gegen Leute die selbst Imports im Kader haben und dann über andere her ziehen.

Ein kleine Sache hab ich da zum Schluss noch mal für alle die über die Defense von Frankfurt hergezogen haben nach dem Spiel in Kaiserslautern.
Die Universe D hat die wenigstens Offense Punkte von Kaiserslautern in dieser Saison zugelassen. Die einzigen die da noch ran gekommen sind, sind die Mainzer.
