Guys, it is true, I wanted to play. I am VERY sorry to Coach Hock and Langen. We missed a home game a couple of years ago and it was tough. The bottom line is we tried to put enough players together for the game up until Thursday. We had 21 players with a possible few others, but not for sure. This has been a tough year for us, 25 players were injured enough to miss games, 14 starters had surgery (knee, shoulder, ankle). In all of my years I have never seen such bad luck with injuries, many that will end a player's career. For the game on Sunday, we had several players out on pre-paid vacations as well. We had no QBs, no OL, no Centers, no LBs, and not enough players. It will be a rebuilding year. Again, very sorry to have not been able to keep my word and very sorry to Langen for cancelling their home game.

I would also like to apologize to Langen and their fans for not being able to show for the Game.
