New coaches for Maastricht Wildcats

The Maastricht Wildcats are pleased to announce the Coaching Staff for the upcoming 2009 AFBN season.

After David Dranes first season as Quarter back for the Wildcats we are happy to announce that
he is back with the team in a new role as Head Coach. He will still be playing QB and we are expecting another solid season from him.


Lars Trömel comes to the Wildcats from Germany where he has played and coached various teams.

He has played for Darmstadt Diamonds, Gibbs High School, Noris Rams, Bolzano Giants, Braunschweig Lions,
Cologne Falcons winning 2 European Championships and a National Championship along the way.
Head coach of Braunschweig Lions Flag Team, achievement: national championship
Worked 2,5 years for the NFL Europa and NFL International: Junior Player Development.
He works as a teacher (School in Langenfeld) and is also a lecturer at the German Sports University in Cologne.
He is also a qualified German American Football coach and is in charge of the qualification examinations and runs the GFL Coaching courses.

Javan Lenhardt is arguably the best Defensive Backs coach in Europe having played and coached at a very high level.

CFL - Hamilton Tiger Cats - 1 Season
GFL - Hamburg Blue Devils DB/DB Coach
GFL - Cologne Crocodiles DB/D-Cordinator
GFL - Cologne Falcons Head Coach
GFL - Darmstadt Diamonds Head Coach

He will be joining the team as both a player and as a coach.


Reggie Seabreeze is joining the Wildcats coaching Staff after enjoying over 20 years of coaching and playing football.
