2 weeks ago, I was praising our Defense as the best in the league. 2 weeks later I am left scratching my head! There are some SERIOUS problems in the Wiesbaden Defense. Hey, a win is a win, and we don't have to worry about tie breakers now as Plattling owns the tie breaker, but 27 points to a fighting Farmer team that was CLEARLY outmanned...Respekt for Brungel and his Warriors!

Zur Halbzeit stand es 28:14 für die Arrows.
Auf jeden Score der Katzen hatten die Arrows die richtige Antwort, doch die 14 Punkte Führung ist ihnen nicht bekommen und Kirchdorf wollte den Sieg wohl mehr als Stuttgart. Die Niederbayern haben im 3.Q ausgeglichen und am Ende sogar die Führung übernommen (34:35). Im letzten Viertel dann die Scores für die Wildcats, ehe es Stuttgart nach einem Touchdown mit 2pt zum 42:44 nochmals spannend machte. Onside klappte allerdings nicht.

The WP run D was good and allowed little, but the pass defense was poor. Clearly, with #7 on the sidelines, others had to get the job done, and that corner who was burned for three TDs shoulda come off the field much earlier. For once I find myself in complete agreement with you Corpse...that is a first LOL!
Yes, clearly not having DA RECEIVER EATER on the field hurt the Defense! Kenny better get better soon, or I forsee a 3rd place finish in Wiesbaden this season. There is NO WAY that they beat Franken in Franken with the Defense I saw yesterday. The running game, other than Brungel, has not been the strength of Montabaur, especially when they get down early as was the case yesterday. You have to know the score, down and distance and the situation to play really good defense, and to continue to give up passing TD's to Christian Gunther...absurd. Brungel is a warrior! This kid has the potential to represent Germany one day as its starting national QB, and you have to wonder where Montabaur would be now if only Gunther was healthy all season! RESPEKT!
Congrads to Kirchdorf and their win over Stuttgart on the road! It looks like Stuttgart let one get away, but great teams never give up...RESPEKT!

...kann mir mal jemand erklären, warum SSA in der Tabelle bei gleichem Punktestand vor KW steht, obwohl KW beide Spiele gegen SSA gewonnen hat?
Es gilt doch bei Punktegleichstand der direkte Vergleich? Oder gibts da eine Regeländerung?

Der direkte Vergleich gilt erst in der Abschlusstabelle.
Davor gibt es keine fixe Regel. Jeder macht es etwas anders.
Die einen gehen nach der Liste der gemachten Touchdowns (Points for), die anderen nach der Differenz aus Points for und Points against.
Wichtig ist aber das, was am Ende der Saison rauskommt und da wird nun Kirchdorf bei Punktgleichheit vor Stuttgart stehen.
Davor gibt es keine fixe Regel. Jeder macht es etwas anders.

die Football-Forum-Tabelle scheint zwar gar keiner Regel zu folgen, aber abgerechnet wird ohnehin tatsächlich am Schluss, wer weiß ob es da Punktegleichstände gibt !!
Wenn es oben in der Tabelle (scheinbar) entschieden ist, dann gibt's wenigstens um den 2. Abstiegsplatz noch etwas Spannung!
Schade dass ich SSA-KW gestern nicht sehen konnte, war bestimmt sehenswerter Football.
