Also im Prinzip is " Running up the score nicht sehr fair" (Ob das der Fall in Königsbrunn so war weiß ich nicht, da ich nicht dort war!)

Ich finde es aber genauso mies mit soeiner Mannschaft wie die Ants dieses Jahr in der GFL2 anzutreten!
Gegen ne Mannschaft spielen die anscheinend wirklich nix drauf hat und dafür noch stundenlang Bus zu fahren (was auch bezahlt werden muss) is wohl für ambitionierte Footballspieler die was erreichen wollen in ihrer Liga einfach nur ätzend langweilig und Zeitverschwendung!

I don't know why you guys are all so suprised about the score of the Fraken game. Coach Martin Habelt has been juicing up the score for years now. And believe you me, he is no stranger to the juice. He has a head like Barry Bonds and a body like Mark McGwire.

I have to agree with you LukeDuke as well. As pissed as I am about Hal-Butt running up the score, I am just as pissed that KA didn't do the right thing before the season began and step down. Aschaffensburg is winning their league right now, they would be a much better competitor than the KA would. I stick by my prediction that the GFL Junior Phantoms would beat the KA, probably by 2 TD's, but they wouldn't run up the score

What do you Guys think the Knights should have done? Fair Catch every Punt? Kneel Down every Down? Play every 4th Down to keep the Game interesting.

As a Spectatur i would've been pisst to see that kind of a game!

As far as i saw, they had a lot of backups playing Defense from the beginning.
I didn't see starting CBs Illgner and Reed, nor did i see RB/LB A. Mohr. The starting Center is Injured..etc.

By The Way, where does "running up the score" start, 21:0, 35:0.....?

I go with Luke Duke...the KA should not be a part of the GFL 2!

Is ja nich so, daß das hier noch nicht gepostet wurde. Aber Halbwissen in der Inbrunst der Überzeugung durch die Gegend zu schmeissen ist schon nicht so toll.

Ich bin kein BSO-Kenner (oder in welchem Regelwerk das auch immer steht), daher verbreite ich mal mein Halbwissen ohne Gewähr:

Freiwilliger Rückzug vor der Saison kostet zwei Ligen (z.B. Cowboys). Manchmal auch nur eine (z.B. Knights). Wo der Unterschied war, weiß ich nicht.

Rückzug während der Saison brächte die Ants meines Wissens auch nur in den nächsten lizenzfreien Raum, wäre die Regionalliga.
Die hätten ohne Probleme für die Regionalliga oder sonstwas melden können. Eine antretfähige Mannschaft haben sie ja.

Komplettes Abmelden, Umbenennen oder Neugründung schickt dich in die unterste Liga, (siehe Rams).

...ich will nicht ablenken, ich möchte nur den Vorschlag bringen, dass man doch auch mal auf den Stuttgartern oder den Saarländern rumhacken könnte, ich finde, dass die in dieser Saison noch ziemlich gut weggekommen sind... (Sergio tut mir jetzt leid)

...ich habe mit den Knights schon mal 98:0 verloren... und wer aus dieser Zeit (jetzt auch als Coach) noch dabei ist, wird alles tun, nur kein Ergebnis hochlaufen...
Ich wäre aber auch extrem enttäuscht wenn es anderst wäre, da ich ja nicht in Königsbrunn war.

A Head Coach can manage a game in a way not to disgrace the other team. Somewhere in the 3rd Quarter I am sure it became apparent to Coach Habelt that the game was in hand. As I look at the game report, it was only 13:0 after 1 Quarter, fairly close. But, when you are 35:0 mid way through the 2nd Quarter, I think it FAIRLY OBVIOUS that you have the game in hand. My issue is not that he scored, it is with who he scored! At 35-0, back-ups should have been in the game...and maybe they were, but a 40-yd TD pass to Simmons up 35:0?? 2 runs by the STARTING IMPORT QB to go up 42 and 49 to zip...give me a break! No I don't believe you kneel down every play, but send your Punt Returner in the game up 56 and not tell him to fair catch??? Why??? And up 63:0 you still have a former GFL1 starter running the ball??? You tell me. A poster said you don't know if you are not in the situation, I don't, I'm not a coach, maybe Coach Habelt had his reasons for scoring 70! Maybe he was so far behind Wiesbaden and Plattling in scoring after 7 games that he felt the need to catch up? Maybe he felt that Plattling might lose twice (not happening), and by 10 to Franken, so then it would go to margin of victory. If this is the case, PATHETIC!

Running up the score in Ich's humble opinion is scoring unneccessary points. It could be 35, it could be 28, it could be 21. For example, when you are up by 14 points with :53 on the clock and you run an onsides kick to get the ball back and score again, that is running the score up. When you are beating a team by 42, 49, 56 and 63 and playing with starters, thats running the score up!

I've had time to think about the whole Montabaur fiasco, it probably wasn't running the score up. If Coach Habelt felt that he might need those 10 points in a tie breaker later with Montabaur, the way the German Leagues are scored is at fault for this. I'm man enough to throw it out there, I'm man enough to say I was wrong, I give the Knights a gimmie here and apologize for saying you ran it up, OR TRIED TO on Montabaur.

I've had about every excuse given me either in email or here on the forum as to why it was OK, and I went on record almost 2 months ago saying that the Ants should fold, I know they are bad, but 70-0 is unacceptable. 96-0 ala Dusseldorf/Franken in 2001 - the coach should have been ran out of town - DISGRACE!

der habelt hätte meiner meinung nach den score noch weiter hoch treiben müssen, sorry ants ! ihr gehört halt nicht in die liga ! als auswärtsteam fährst auch nicht runter um just for fun zu spielen ! die jungs vollen spaß haben sie soll in haben ! nächstes jahr haben die ants wieder spaß in der regional liga !

bum aus ende ! das gelaber ist schwul. wir spielen football und nicht halma oder einen sisi sport ! wem es nicht past soll vom feld gehen oder das spiel absagen oder abrechen !

Bin Laden nicht zu finden ist eine Schande, aber 70:0 gewinnen? das ist höchstens Teil des Spiels...
