So Strong, help me out in understanding here, it did happen in 2008, plattling scouting other teams practices? Was someone caught with a pen and paper, camera, tape recorder? Was someone placed on a board and water dropped repeatedly on their forehead whereby they said "We are here from Plattling?"

Personally, I think it is a bunch of bullshit. Yes, coaches here should be held to a code of ethics. If they cheat, like Bellichoke, they should be ran out of town and organizations punished, but I can't imagine that this happened, really! Nuff said, prepare for your jubilee!

We were comparing rumours, weren't we? I gave the version I heard and wasn't the one to put it up. We are sharing information. If there are different sources, there might be proof of some sort. But only the coaches involved will know for sure.

Mal ehrlich, es ist viel eher die Frage, wie wir mit unserem brillianten Nischensport umgehen wollen. Nehmen wir ihn ernst, gehört der ganze Background mit Code of Ethics, Quality of Judging etc. mit auf's Tapet.

Ansonsten bleiben wir im Bereich der mehr oder weniger billigen Schlappekickerei. Und verdienen es auch nicht, von anderen ernst genommen zu werden.

Ansonsten ist das jetzt aber überhaupt nicht mehr das Thema dieses Freds.

ein anderer aspekt sollte auch noch überdacht werden, BH hat in den letzten 4 Spiele vermeitlich schwächere gegner gehabt und ausserdem hat man in den letzten spielen einige schwächen erkannt. nun werden sie jedoch einen wesentlich besseren gegner zu schlagen haben und dann auch noch gleich auswärts..

glaub das es ein recht enges spiel werden wird, ausserdem hat ja DD gegen Munich nur doch eigene fehler das spiel verloren..

Ist der weg? Hunter wäre glaube ich ein Problem für jedes Team zusammen mit Outlaw.

Und jetzt wo DD genug Pause hatte um die Verletzten wieder fit zu kriegen sollte man sie nicht unterschätzen.

Marburg und Stuttgart sind ein anderes Kaliber als aktuell Hall, Weinheim und vor allem Darmstadt

Also, zunächst mal wurde hier die einfache Frage gestellt, wer aus den Relegationsspielen als Sieger hervorgehen wird; was ich mit "meiner Meinung nach Darmstadt" beantwortet habe. Ohne eine Wertung vorzunehmen, also solltest Du mir mit Deinem "Keep hating-Scheiß" nicht die Ohren vollabern.

Und zum zweiten sollte man nicht außer acht lassen, dass Plattling immer noch in der GFL2 und Darmstadt in der GFL gespielt hat, was das Verhältnis zwischen erzielten und zugelassenen Punkten wieder in ein anderes Licht rückt.

Ich muss zugeben, ich hörte auch von dem Gerücht, dass Coach Olive in Wiesbaden mit der Kamera am Zaun gestanden haben soll. Aber ob dies nun stimmt ist mir völlig wurscht.
Plattling steht verdient in der Relegation, weil sie im Kampf dreier gleichwertiger Teams zum Schluss die Nasenspitze vorn hatten, PUNKT !!!

@I Love This Game: That shit ain't true. You can see that yourself. If there's any coach who is truly fair and stays within the coaching code of ethics it's definitely Coach Olive. We had so many chances to run-up scores and stick it to teams when we were up by 20 and 30, but he wanted to get those inexperienced players some experience and rest starters and also be fair to other teams. Why would this person change at the end of the season and step outside of those lines?? Rumors are what make every game exciting and maybe someone is just trying to set off a fuse here in the forum. Some teams benefit from good old-fashioned coaching. That's the difference between a team stacked with good athletes and a team with a few play-makers and a hell of a coach. Ask Munich, they can elaborate a little better on that.

I typically don't get caught up in what happens in Football forum, this is something for the fans to enjoy. However, I received an email message from one of my players telling me the rumor on football forum is I was taping practices. Now from Michel I hear that rumor has it I was taping Wiesbaden practices.

FACT: My wife is from Wiesbaden, and I was in Wiesbaden on 2 separate occassions during the season while working in Heidelberg. Once, a Wednesday or Thursday evening when I ran into the Kenny "the Receiver Eater" Colbert at the Main Exchange in Wiesbaden. Kenny and I passed a friendly barb about the upcoming game between Wiesbaden and Plattling 3 weeks later, I told him to make sure they were practicing hard. Kenny told me they were ready for our passing game, and ready for the rematch. I later ran into the Team President from the Wiesbaden Phantoms (which would have been during a practice) at a Turkish restaurant that caters our team when we are in town. I was dropping in to say hello to my friend Bilano. I had no reason to be at Europa stadium for Wiesbaden practice, I can't imagine most of the organization not knowing my face even if I wanted to.

I don't care if you talk about how bad our Defense is, I don't care if you call the team not legit because we have imports, I don't care if you call our uniforms ugly, I don't care if you call Darmstadt the favorite, which in my humble opinion, they should be, they are the reigning GFL1 team till someone knocks them out. BUT, if you ask any other coach in this Division with whom I have had interaction offline, I promote the American Football Coaches Association and its code of ethics for fair play. I expect my players to be ambassadors for the game, and have dealt harshly with players who did not uphold those code of ethics. Call me what you will, but I am not a cheater.
