I don't have any predictions. But I will say a few things about the matchups.

1) I hope the Hurricanes beat a new asshole into the Diamonds. Of all the cheap, dirty teams in the league, Darmstadt is the scumbag central of all low-class, bitch-ass assholes in GFL 2 Sued. Tell me I'm wrong...anyone.

2) I trust Franken will pound the 'whoop-whoop' Phantoms when it counts. Franken plays hard, and is a good team. I don't like them, but I respect them. Weisbaden does this whole song and dance to show the world how bad-ass they are. Please. Franken, hopefully, will wipe that cheerleader smirk off their faces. Again, you can call me an asshole all you want, but you can't tell me that the whole Weisbaden 'aren't we so tough' cheerleading they do isn't an embarrassment to themselves.

3) You know, I think Mannheim and Kaiserslautern are two of the classier teams in the league. Kaiserslautern isn't the best team in the league; neither is Mannheim. But their players don't parade themselves like idiot peacocks and strut around like they're the shit. I hope for a good game, and no injuries.

4) Speaking of dirty, low class sons-a-bitches, I'm glad Hanau isn't playing this weekend. Grabbing, pinching and other asshole moves...Hanau is the King...Entschuldigung....Die Koeningin.

Wenn die in der Relegation so spielen wie gegen die Knights, dann holen sich die Phantoms höchstens ein paar blaue Flecken. Es hat zwar die bessere Mannschaft gewonnen, aber es war am Ende doch spannend und Rothenburg hat sich eher selbst besiegt.

Zudem ich bin echt gespannt ob das am Ende beim Onside-Kick wirklich ne Kick-catch-interference war, denn aus unserer Perspektive sah es nicht so aus.

Und an alle Spieler der Phantoms in der Nähe des Balls beim Onside-Kick und dessen Wiederholung: MUAHAHAHA.... Fair-Catch-Signal beim Onside-Kick LOL! Witzbolde!

Corpse - An interesting study in penalty yards. While I never really consider statistics a true measure of the quality of a player or a team ( 'There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.'), I find that there's a correlation between the character and spirit of a team and its tendency to be penalized. There may be no way to know, but I'd be interested in seeing how that penalty yardage breaks down into personal fouls and unnecessary roughness penalties/yardage. That would be the true measure of a dirty team.

You know the game well enough to know that many of the more unsavory elements of the game are not penalized, and that there is plenty of crap that goes on at the bottom of the pile and after the play that the refs do not see or penalize. If you have real confidence in yourself and your team, you don't need to grab, pinch, smother, push or try to intimidate your opponent with a lot of nonsense talking. If you are THAT good, you don't need to do any of that amateur crap. German Shepherds do not bark at Chihuahuas.

Weisbaden...eh. They're a good team, good for them. If only they didn't carry themselves like a bunch of forgotten, attention starved little brothers...

Ich weiß ja nicht, wie es euch erging, aber ich habe heute ein echt geiles Spiel auf hohem Niveau gesehen in Rothenburg. Die Knights haben sich letztendlich das Leben selbst schwer gemacht, viele Strafen, die allerdings nix Bösartiges beinhalteten. Ein faires Spiel vor einer super Kulisse, gut 1000 Zuschauer machten richtig Lärm und bildeten einen würdigen Rahmen für dieses Topspiel, das mit den Phantoms einen glücklichen aber verdienten Sieger gefunden hat.

Auch ich tat mein Bestes, hat richtig Spass gemacht, aber leider nicht gereicht ....

Quatsch 1000 Zuschauer waren das nicht. Zwischen 500-600 duerfen es gewesen sein.
Knights haben verdient verloren denn die WP waren einfach besser.

Das Spiel fand ich jetzt nicht sooooo toll. Gerade von Rothenburger Seite war eigentlich zu 95% der QB in Aktion zu sehen. Wo waren da schöne Spielzüge o.ä. dabei?

Wiesbaden hat wenigstens etwas mehr Abwechslung gezeigt und später kamen die Pässe dann ja auch an und wurden nicht wie die ersten 3 weit überworfen.

Glückwunsch an die Hurricanes zur dann doch klaren Meisterschaft und zum Aufstieg. Phantoms, die Longhorns sind ja wohl zu knacken.
