First Downs: Arrows 12 , Wildcats 6
Yards: Arrows 220, Wildcats 170
Redzone: Arrows 3 , Wildcats 1
Ints: Arrows 2 , Wildcats 2
3-and-outs: Arrows 2 , Wildcats 5

Kirchdorf 12 - Silver Arrows 0...your point?
There is some merit to the argument that the best team does not always win. My personal opinion, you play the Super Bowl Giants versus New England 100 times and New England wins 90 of those 100, But they didn't win it when it counted. Stuttgart is not an established GFL2 Program, Kirchdorf is, regardless of where they are personnel-wise this season. You have no facts to base your argument on - Stuttgart is the better team! You can only make this argument from a fan or player perspective. Being from Stuttgart, I wouldn't expect anything less!

I'm not saying Stuttgart is the better team, but I will say last Saturday Stuttgart was the more consistent team and felt we let one slip away. As I said before, Kirchdorf made plays when they had to and Stuttgart didn't and a loss is a loss no matter how you cut it. As to the insinuations of cheap shots and dirty play, if you were not at the game on Saturday you have nothing to say. This was a very rough and sometimes dirty game and Kirchdorf did more than their share to make it this kind of game. There was a lot of taunting from the Wildcats side and the officiating crew let it continue throughout the game. If the officials had been more consistent, some of the things that happened during the game would have been prevented. In my opinion the officiating crew was very weak and often times out of position to make calls. They seemed more interested in watching the game than taking care of their responsibilities. When questioned about certain calls they were unable to give an answer that made sense, to anyone who had been around football for more than 20 minutes. Bottom line is Stuttgart is 1 and 1 with a tough game this weekend against the Blackhawks and we will know how that turns out around 1900 on Saturday, until then all the predictions are just a “Wild Ass” guess.

Oh, that's just Bavarian officiating as we've known it for years!jdl33 hat geschrieben:... and the officiating crew let it continue throughout the game.

Welcome to German Officiating
German Refs are worse than the DODS Refs you saw here in Germany JD! At least they are consistent...ly bad LOL From my experience over the past few years, either they are too harsh (i.e some BS ejections the past few years) or they let the game get away, which sounds like what happened last weekend, I don't know, I wasn't there. Bottom-line though, the officiating I have seen with Wiesbaden the past few weeks has not been too bad, but I have seen HORRIBLE games! The game should be settled by the players on the fields and not the Refs!
With that said, You are right, Stuttgart is 1 and 1 and in 3rd place currently, but saying "better team" ala Rooster...you've got to beat somebody first before you say that a 2nd League Rookie is a better team than a 2nd League Veteran ala kirchdorf! Konningsbrunn doesn't count, they should have been playing in the 3rd league 2 seasons ago when Jena fell, and Kirchdorf forgot to show up TWICE last season versus Konningsbrunn or they were neck and neck with Hanau/Aschaffensburg!

I hear ya....Just hope we can make some plays this week during crunch time because I think the game this week should show us and all the doubters exactly where we stand at this point.ILoveThisGame hat geschrieben:German Refs are worse than the DODS Refs you saw here in Germany JD! They are an explosive Team JD. Their press report says that Starzengruber is with them this weekend which 2 years ago was one of the best WR in the 2nd League. They are explosive enough without him. The Defense will have to force turnovers which is going to be tough since they have a very Smart QB who takes what the Defense gives. He took a beating in Wiesbaden, but was still making plays in the 4th Quarter. Hazel is their biggest running threat as well, his Europlayers account shows him making lots of plays with his feet. Defensively, they are not a big team, but a fast team. I think they struggle with a power running game. Wiesbaden ran right at them the first half and moved the ball. The 2nd Half, they made adjustments and really stopped Wiesbaden's running attack, all but the first drive. Toure Butler is by far the best player on the Defense. The American DE was also very good. The LB's missed a lot of tackles and is a weakness. Their secondary is very good, very fast, but Wiesbaden was able to pass the ball. Special Teams Coverage is a weakness, but they have explosive returners, they are a threat to return for a TD every Punt/Kick!
