Fleyer, Zeitungsartikel, Radiowerbung, Facebook, etc. ??? was bringt was?
I think we used all of the above. Our vereine supports us very well, they made flyers, posted large color banners on every bridge a few days before the game, and advertised at other sporting events (Soccer and Basketball games). On Facebook, we set up invites and invited everyone we knew, so that may have helped too. We have more than tripled our attendance from last year and it is helping our club a lot. The main reason though is our President and Team officials have been working very hard to spread the word, get sponsors, and get our players out to events to advertise. In fact, if you are in LB this weekend, our guys will be the security for the U16 Basketball Championships. That will get us an ad in the programs, over 50,000. Plus, we have awesome Bulldog Burgers at our homegames!
and I agree with Jerry, location is important. Both us and BB have games scheduled in our town's main stadium, makes football more mainstream for the townfolk!
